1. About Little Basket

Little Basket is an India-focused baby-care shopping and price-comparison service. We may sell selected products directly and also display products or offers from third-party retailers through comparison and affiliate links. The seller for a particular product is identified during the product or checkout journey. These Terms apply to your use of Little Basket; purchases from external retailers are also governed by those retailers' terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable Indian law to place an order. If you create an account, provide accurate and current information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, unlawful activity or breach of these Terms.

3. Product information and price comparisons

We aim to present useful product descriptions, availability and pricing information. Third-party prices, discounts, stock, delivery charges and terms can change without notice and may not update instantly. The final price, availability, delivery estimate and applicable terms are those shown by the seller at checkout. Verify product size, variant, quantity, seller, price and delivery details before ordering. Product images and descriptions may be supplied by brands, sellers or retailers and are illustrative unless stated otherwise. This does not limit consumer rights available under law.

4. Direct purchases from Little Basket

Where Little Basket is the seller, an order is subject to product availability, successful payment (where applicable), delivery serviceability and our order confirmation. We may contact you to verify details. If an item is unavailable, a listing contains a material error, or we cannot fulfil an order, we will inform you and arrange cancellation and refund of amounts received for the affected item, as applicable. Prices are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, shipping or other charges will be shown before you confirm the order.

5. Payments

Payments for direct orders may be processed through third-party providers such as Razorpay. Available methods are shown at checkout. Payment processing is subject to the provider's terms and security procedures. Never share your UPI PIN, OTP, card PIN or banking password with anyone, including someone claiming to be Little Basket support. We will not ask you to disclose these credentials.

6. Shipping and delivery

For direct orders, serviceable locations, shipping charges and estimated delivery timelines will be displayed during checkout or communicated with the order. Delivery estimates are indicative and may be affected by courier operations, weather, public holidays, remote locations or events beyond our reasonable control. Provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact number. This section does not limit rights under applicable law. For purchases on a third-party retailer's website, that retailer is responsible for shipping, delivery and fulfilment.

7. Returns, replacements and refunds

For products sold directly by Little Basket, return, replacement or refund requests are subject to product eligibility, condition, reason for the request and applicable consumer law. Product-specific return conditions may be shown on the product page or at checkout. Where a return is accepted, the item may need to be unused, in original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase, except where the request concerns a defect, damage, wrong item or another circumstance protected by law.

Approved refunds will generally be initiated to the original payment method or another lawful method agreed with you; the time for funds to appear may depend on the payment provider or bank.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights concerning defective, deficient, damaged, spurious, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. For purchases completed on a third-party retailer's website, contact that retailer and follow its return and refund process.

8. Affiliate links and third-party retailers

Some links may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you, unless clearly stated otherwise. Affiliate relationships do not guarantee the lowest price or imply that we control or endorse every product. When you leave Little Basket, the retailer's terms, privacy policy, checkout, payment, shipping, cancellation, return and refund processes apply. Little Basket is not the seller for those transactions, subject to rights or obligations imposed on us by law.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data in a disruptive manner, submit false information, infringe intellectual property, or use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes. We may take reasonable steps to protect the website and users.

10. Intellectual property

Little Basket's branding, design, text, graphics, software and original website content are owned by or licensed to Little Basket and protected by applicable laws. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping and comparison. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law. Third-party names, logos and product materials belong to their respective owners.

11. Website availability and disclaimers

We work to keep the website available and information accurate, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be modified, suspended or withdrawn for maintenance, security, business or legal reasons. To the extent permitted by law, the website and comparison information are provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Little Basket will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use, inaccurate third-party retailer feeds, temporary service interruption or transactions independently completed with external sellers. This clause does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be limited.

13. Privacy

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to our services or applicable law. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Your continued use after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. If a change materially affects an existing order, the terms and rights applicable to that order will be respected.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights and the jurisdiction of consumer commissions or other forums established by law, disputes shall be subject to the competent courts and forums in Kerala, India.

We aim to acknowledge consumer grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within the period prescribed by applicable law, ordinarily one month.
